Khanate of Khiva (Khwarezm) Independent Khanate 5 Tenga KM#Y10.1 AH 1337 Coin appears to have been dug and cleaned.See picture. Nice clear date, nice sun in sky on obverse. In my old KM catalog (30th Edition) it lists at $37.50 in Good, $52.50 in Fine. I'm starting this coin at a very low price for a coin from this hard to find location. Khiva declared its independence from Russia during the Russian Revolution. This coin dates from 1337 AH (1918 AD) during the brief reign of Sayyid Abdullah Khan and Junaid Khan. They only lasted about 2 years, then it became Khwarezm Soviet People's Republic, then Uzbekistan S.S.R., and now Uzbekistan.
